“TOOTSIE” POP
What do all the pictures and messages on a
Tootsie Pop mean? If altered, what could they
represent? On this (5ft.X5ft.) acrylic painting
I transformed my journal into a gigantic Tootsie
Pop wrapper. My thoughts made up the text
and my hobbies and friends made up the
images.
SOCCER INVENTED
This “Rennaissance” rendering on canvas
was created to portray a good friend Cory
Cosgrave’s personality as if it was being
invented (DaVinci style) for the very first time.
It has since been used as a twitter background.
TV BARS
This sillouette was extracted from an image
by photographer Morgan Lyman. Since then,
it was been used as a stencil for tagging, used
as a watermark, and placed over TV bars as
shown here.
BALBOA ISLAND
There are few places on earth better to be than
Balboa Island, CA at sunset. This image was
used as the back cover of a wedding guest
sign-in book.
THE NOTES ARE ON THE WALL
This idea was inspired by the rectangles found
on victorian styled walls. The orignal plans were
to then fill in the papers with notes, poems, song
lyrics, and journal entries. However, the
cleanliness and ambiguity was just too enjoyable
to change anything.
Gs IN HER EYES
It was fun to explore the possibilites with the
human eyes. Beginning explorations played
with the reflection. From there it evolved to
altering the actual iris.
PAINT ME A BRIDE
This piece was created in two seperate parts:
The bride and The background. Both designed
after one another, then both altered after one
another.
WHITE ROSES AND VIOLETS
There are 3 laws of wedding albums:
-Focus on the bride.
-Focus on the bride.
-Keep it classy.
THE KISS
This page of PORTFOLIO contains both ART
and PHOTOGRAPHY. But some pieces, when
done well enough, fulfill both categories.
